Eve's eve

Yet again leaving dog walk until last minute so as to try & make the night bearable for Luna, nearly ended up crawling on hands & knees to see the way. Had taken to the Bannwald forest above Ottobeuren to avoid the wind & light drizzle.

The long-distance shot bottom right is the basilica as we got back to the car. As I was pretty sure I wouldn't be attending midnight mass on Tuesday, popped into the basilica to do something I like to do at such times. 

The market place was pretty busy, at least with traffic. Guess people are mainly doing last-minute grocery shopping. Tomorrow at 14:00 all shops close until Friday morning - by law and even though Christmas Eve is not an official public holiday.
