More candles

A very lazy day, well, for me anyway. JR cleaned the oven and busied herself all morning (after a lie in and breakfast in bed).

Becky and Daniel came to take Archie out for the morning, which was great. Leftover Christmas lunch yum yum.

I watched a bit of BBC News - I like all those reviews of the year - sport, weather, politics, famous people no longer with us...

I then listened to my audio book and, inevitably, fell asleep. JR watched yesterday's Bake Off and browsed sofas online - what a minefield! The options are never ending, but we sort of know what we want. 

More candles. I couldn’t wait to put these on (this was 4pm). These ones (two of five) are battery ones. Not just battery ones, but remote controlled  battery ones! Brilliant. Thanks E.
