Family

One of the best things about Christmas for a working mum is simply having the time to be able to sit on the floor and watch Room on the Broom with your daughter.
Katy and Jon have both been off for Christmas this year for the first time in a while and have so enjoyed the time together as a family.
Katy and the girls came up this morning to pick up their car which they had left last night and it was lovely to have some quiet time with them while everybody else was up town.
I'm still putting up with this horrid lurgy and apart from a flying visit to Tesco to buy mince for more people for dinner than expected I haven't been out today. I did however make enough bolognaise sauce to feed many people before I went back to bed!
