Copacabana Palace, Boxing Day

A relaxed morning and we opened our Christmas pressies. We sometimes end up deciding to open them on the 26th if we're too tired on Christmas night, like last night after our mega siesta! Santa was good to us, leaving us lots of little fun gifts in re-usable bags and I think there's only one to be returned, which isn't bad going! We walked along to Real Chopp and had some comfort food (cheesy chips with little bits of cooked pork sausage) and while Bb watched the Liverpool football match I was happy to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and people watch. A wander along the front and took my blip of Copacabana Palace - where we decided not to go to for Christmas lunch this year, but might still enjoy one of their Sunday buffets. Shared a lime and coconut tub of ice cream walking back to the flat and stopped for a drink and a couple of games of Yahtzee at 'the local place' and are now about to watch Gavin and Stacey. A relaxing day. Bb has started to enjoy something from his made up selection box - no such things here, but old habits die hard and it was on his letter to Santa!
