Sam Summer’s hut

Found this this great wee place on my hike today, belonged to a gold prospector who lived here until his death in 1997 at the age of 92. Am thinking of relocating as it has a toilet and a river and, therefore, as many facilities as this campsite. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be allowed as it’s a bit of a tourist destination.
Good track for fitness though so if I can work out a way of washing myself and my clothes I may stay for a few days. There is a van parked next to my tent advertising a pick up and drop off laundry service but haven’t seen the owner yet, perhaps they will manifest themselves tomorrow.
