Ithilien camp

I have arrived in middle earth at the point where Sam, Frodo and Gollum watch a battle between Farimir’s army against the army with Oliphaunts.
My first night camping so a bit more peaceful than Queenstown. The only way to get here was by hitching and the guy who gave me a lift, as serendipity would have it, is also heading the Mexican border in Spring to hike the PCT. Had some excellent kit discussions but sadly the journey was over too quickly. His trail name is Snake brake, am just writing it down so I will remember, and I look forward to watching him whizz past me at some point.
Hoping my solar charger works, if not I might be out of touch for a couple of days as the Chinese immigration took my charger off me. Not the best campsite for facilities, just a toilet and water so we will see how it goes but feels good to get the tent up.
