Woke to a white frost this morning and quickly decided to head to the moors for a walk.
Duty called first however, so on route, called in to see my aunt.
My cousin arrived while we were there so was able to catch up on all his news.
Many others were out enjoying the sunny day. We avoided the crowds at Haytor and drove around to Hound Tor.
Several couples / families enjoying a picnic amongst the rock outcrops.
In the shaded areas, the bracken was still frosted but it was warm walking in the sunshine.
Not in any rush to return home we went to The Rugglestone Inn at Widecombe for a drink.
It was packed but we found a seat in the garden. Amazingly it was warm enough to sit outside.
Home to a traditional turkey dinner cooked expertly for me and then an evening slobbing in front of the TV and reading the journals from around the world.
