Glorious but very short lived

A very damp, grey day but as I padded through to the kitchen this morning I could see, through the small glass panel in the front door, a patch of pink.

Jacket, trousers and wellies on and I was down the lane to the beach in the twinkling of an eye. It was raining so I couldn't risk the camera lens getting wet. Although there was this amazing patch of pink sky the sun never appeared.
