Snowdrops

The Cambo Estate visitors' centre and walled garden is closed during the Festive Season but there is still acess to the woodland areas and walk by the river down to the beach at Kingsbarns.

It is many weeks till the Snowdrop Festival but this morning, nestling at the foot of a tree, we spotted the first snowdrops for this season. We probably won't be back in Fife until February ..... by then the woodlands should be covered with a wonderful variety of these lovely white flowers.

The stems of the dogwood (Cornus Midwinter Fire) add a wonderful splash of colour in these dark winter days.
