Thursday: Rising Temperature

I got into a bit of trouble for taking this photo as apparently I kept letting the heat out of the oven.  It didn’t stop the beef from being spectacular!  K. really is great at cooking meat.

V and E came over today for a Boxing Day feast.  It was a great day - lovely food and company.  I shall, however, never eat again.

They were showing me how to put books on hold at the library - I’ve never really made the most of my library membership here.  Suffice to say, I’ve now got a stack of books on hold,  including the NYT’s best books of 2019.

On that note, I’ve finally finished ‘The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists’.  I got a bit tired of the house painting scenes (and it took forever to paint the house!) but the rest of it was very good.
