Trip into town today. Brief look at the sales. And went back to a jewellers to get a longer chain for a pendant for my wife.

These guards were outside the shop. They always make me think of the Nutcracker. Perhaps because we used to have from Germany an actual nutcracker styled and painted like these.

Our daughter and fiancee arrived early evening then a couple of hours later various of her school friends came round. Nice to hear the house alive with chat.
