No More Drips...I hope!

Dear Diary,

The man came and fixed the roof, at least I hope it is fixed.  It will have to be painted in the spring and that may keep it functional for a few more years.  We had an icy rain earlier and this is a somewhat faffed image of a puddle where the ice was melting off the roof.  I couldn't venture off the porch because of the ice but he was able to get up on the roof to do the work.  Frankly, I am a bit dubious so I will still be covering my laptop with plastic.  A snow storm is heading our way Sunday night through Monday. Projections vary from 2-4 inches to 4-8 inches.  I do hope it is the first estimate!  I need to stock up on things today.
