The clean up

NZ immigration is extremely strict about any soil coming into the country, to the extent that all shoes, tents, fishing gear etc has to be free of any potential invading microbes. Some unintentional foreign species have already decimated natural wildlife, so they take it all very seriously. Tonight, in fear, I scrubbed the soles of my sandals, twice! I don't want the shame of being 'the dirty one' at dirt control. Looking at the picture I can see there's room for improvement!
Yola has managed to pack her bags and come in under weight, which is a miracle of some magnitude. She's done very well and fitted everything I asked of her, plus extra shoes, jeans, tops, lots make up and her hair straighteners. There's the makings of another good Essex girl there! Of course her hair looks fantastic left au natural, I wish mine looked like hers. I'm the one that will be 'billy no mates' with the flat lifeless mop. I've packed a hat.
