Wet mum, caught on camera phone by John

Little boy is allowed outside for a few minutes each day with supervision. Well, he gets 10/10 for bravery after falling in the pond, we get nil points for poor supervisory skills.

He loves to hurtle around, little tail flying, by the time we caught up he was a bedraggled little fellow. Big Tabbie looked on in a knowing way as we fussed and cooed. Eventually I coaxed the little one inside although I can’t say towel drying went down too well although it was sweet to watch the big wash taking place in front to the fire.

On both outside excursions he was taken over to the pond and had front feet dabbled to show what wet is like. We suspect he was surprised by the tabby and ran off to play misjudging the situation. That’s the first ducking I’ve seen with this gang of cats. I was left with a feeling of relief that cats can cope in water and amusement, he looked tough and tiny, hardly bothered at all. .
