Grantchester

This area really is beautiful, despite its flatness.  The willows that line the River Cam are large and architectural in shape, the colours in this light are soft and delicate and many people enjoy the stroll along the river, either to or from Cambridge.

We were walking into the sun when this couple appeared, silhouetted against the bright light.  My camera has done an excellent job of keeping all the tones under control, requiring the minimum of fiddling on my computer.
