Weymouth Bay
The sun shone, but it was very cold in the wind down south this afternoon. We went to view a house that seemed to be very popular. It’s allowed under the rather daft rules and if we don’t find somewhere we’ll be homeless . . . The house was cool, but it’s been a holiday let and has a tiny garden so we reduced its ranking against one we offered on last week.
And as we drove home (3 ½ hours) we got a call from the other agent: our offer had been accepted: no longer threatened with homelessness. It’s silly money, but that’s the English housing market.
And the view of Weymouth Bay had been a fantastic change from Cambridgeshire.
