First Footings at Woodhorn...

...a portrait of this young miner, telling stories in the dark...
We started the tour in the Tally Room, and also took in the women's stories in a 1950s living room, and a dance performance in the Winding House.
In extras, a powerful installation called "Hanging Up" - where the miners have hung up their overalls for the last time...
We also tried alternative energy sources - and managed to power up a light and a clock from a bike! On til 5th January if you're in the area...
PS it was on look North tonight ;) 

Afterwards, a Spotlight Tour of the Pitmen Painters exhibition - all good - such an interesting day!
