The London Palladium Pantomime!
If I was scoring the London Palladium Pantomime out of 10...I'd break all the rules and go for 25!! :-P
The story is Goldilocks and The Three Bears but it's actually just one long, spectacular variety show. There's high tight rope walking and tumbles from Matt Baker and endless witty jokes and banter that's evidently off script by Julian Clary and Paul O'Grady. You've got Nigel Havers as one of the Three Bears who's a great giggle and Gary Wilmot who performs a song which includes snippets of lyrics from every musical theatre production you can think of...amazing! Another highlight is the talented ventriloquist Paul Zerdin known as Billy with his friend Sam. He's very, very cute and funny! It really was an amazing show from start to finish. I would highly recommend it!
There was also time for a trip along Regent Street where the angel lights really are spectacular and also Oxford Street which was declaring 2020 and Happy New Year... in quite spectacular fashion!
Out of London and into a Premier Inn for the night in Milton Keynes before any of the New Year's Eve madness begins...thankfully! :-P I won't be seeing midnight that's for sure!
