I'm cold!

Well I'M not because I'm indoors! But this pigeon looked very hunched up and cold. I spotted him/her through the kitchen window and managed to take a photo from the kitchen door (the tree was in next door's garden) with my camera zoomed in to the upper end of the non-digital zoom. I think it came out pretty well once cropped - and not too blurry considering I didn't bother with a tripod.

However, my potatoes did not come out so well! I totally forgot I'd left them boiling in the saucepan whilst I did my photography. They were meant to be par-boiled before roasting - they were in fact very boiled to the point that some were reduced to slush! Fortunately there were enough that had survived to roast for my two boys men, so I just cooked some extra boiled ones for me. More healthy anyway!!
