Happy New Year

I found this lovely bouquet at Central Market today when I went to do some shopping, not expecting the crowd that was there.  I like this one because it's very Spring-like, somehow promising a more enjoyable year ahead.

I had dinner with Lex and Doug, and we toasted the New Year with prosecco even though it was only 6:30, as we knew none of us would be awake at midnight.  Then we played Trivial Pursuit, which we hadn't done in quite a long time, and I headed home.  It was still raining.
