A sunny New Year's Day

I awakened to sunshine this morning, the first we've had in a long while.  So I went down to Carkeek Park to have a look at the upper garden I've blipped so many times before.  I was looking for signs of new life and was pleased to find that there were many.  This glossy plant with its red leaves and bright yellow berries was the best.

I try not to make resolutions each year, because I somehow never manage to follow through with them after an initial spurt of energy.  For this year, I want to find out in what ways I am contributing to my own poor health and try to turn some of that around.  I'm not listing specifics so I won't be overwhelmed and give up.
