Summer Gold...

A view from the Wither Hills Farm Park. This is where I captured my very first Blip.... on New Years Day, seven years ago. Today is the first time In months since I walked these tracks. I usually walk the Taylor River Reserve tracks with Maisie. We are not permitted to walk dogs on the Wither Hills as it is a working farm. Smoke from catastrophic bush fires in Australia has drifted across the Tasman Sea and made for very hazy skies in parts of New Zealand as can be seen in this image.
