Distant Mist.....

Maisie and I were out and about very early. The sky, once again, was hazy in part. This view is looking towards the low clouds shrouding the lower slopes of the hills. The haze in the skies is from the bush fires in Australia. The news and images of some of those fires shows the devastation which must be heartbreaking for those folk living in the affected areas. We feel so helpless here in New Zealand. Maisie rushed around this morning running through acres of dry grasses in pursuit of the many rabbits. Consequently she spent some hours at the Vets today having grass seed removed from ears, feet and other body parts. Poor Maisie.
