A Good Year For Books

The year started off with Erebus and has finished with Olive Again both excellent books and many good ones in-between.

At this time of year the biological control of aphid is ineffective in unheated greenhouses so today I have had to spray to control it in the Pansy and Viola crops.
While all kitted up I decided to get a fungicide on everything else.Some good news on the Plant Passporting front, the rules have been simplified making it much more workable.

Spent the evening watching a couple of good films,The Two Popes and Maudi followed by a couple of episodes of the Good Life before welcoming the new year.More fireworks locally and over Liverpool than I have seen for many years.
