I wanted to start the new year on a healthy note, so B and I went for a walk around the pretty Bayfield Estate this morning, finishing off with a coffee in front of the stove at the Natural Surroundings cafe.

The light was poor for most of the walk but somehow this enhanced and softened the texture of the trees in their leafless sculptural form.
