Out and about
Last night was frosty and the sky as clear as a bell. If only I had thought to stand outside with my camera on a tripod and take pictures of the stars. Instead we went to the Wiveton Bell, which was packed to the rafters with families, friends or couples bent on bringing in the New Year with fine dining, a quiz and plenty of bubbly.
After a late night we rose late and had a leisurely breakfast before heading to a car park just the other side of Cley visitor centre. An easy walk out to sea followed by a long and tricky walk over the shingle beach to Salthouses.
After a pub lunch at the Dun Cow we walked briskly back to the car as it was turning chilly, and over to the visitors centre for afternoon tea.
Dinner is in the oven and then it’ll be back to playing cards. It may also be an early night.
I’ve added a few extras. Another silhouette, a flock of Brent Geese, the reeds and a view across the beach.
