End of the year ride

We've come up to Yorkshire for New Year with friends.  We've had a fantastic day messing around on their farm.  I went riding this morning (first time in 4 years and it was sooooo lovely), and then the boys went riding on the little Shetland Pony our friends have. He was a bit frisky, and the eldest sat so well, I was super impressed. 

Incredibly tired boys by the end of the day - but a day spent playing with new friends so very happily.  Then the grown ups had a great dinner party and we all actually lasted until midnight!
