Abstract flames

My photographic mojo was lacking again today and I was feeling uninspired until I sat down and spotted the abstract lines in our newly lit fire.  We’d just been out to buy sunflower hearts for the goldfinches - would you believe that they had to turn to Nyger seed for their meagre sustenance because the main feeders were empty!

Four of us got together this morning to talk about linking a commemoration for VE Day with the Thurgoland Boundary Walk.  My job is to help out with publishing a map with information to show the where the men who are recorded on the war memorial had lived.  We’re hoping that this can go out with the April Newsletter, so the work on it needs to happen over the next month.
