Quinces
In one of the gardens of The Nook. It made me think of Ann `bletting’ them after she’s brought some back from Pam’s garden in the North York Moors. A long and messy process, I seem to remember, and in the end she finished up with two very clear jars of Quince Jelly.
I’m certain this wasn’t my best day out with a camera - definitely one of those days when I was failing to see what the camera was recording, but I managed one or two for Blipfoto.
Just as I was walking back through the village a few snowflakes were beginning to float down. It’s white over now - and my coalman has come with a bag of coal to tide me over.
