Bowie in Brixton

Almost one year on from Bowie's death, people are still leaving messages and offerings at the mural. I've only recently started enjoying Bowie's music but I have friends who were profoundly affected by his death as his music means so much to them. It's comforting that the council and the community keep this mural as a tribute.

It was a lovely sunny day and we enjoyed a walk along the north bank of the Thames, admiring as always the mosaic at Queenhithe [see the extra pic for a glimpse of a tiny part of it].
