Sewing

Back to work!  Very quiet and I got plenty done, so feeling in a good place mentally for Monday when everyone is back.  I also got lots of 'personal admin' done, and sorted a few things that needed looking into. 

Got home and finished making pyjama's with the eldest, he's been asking to sew for ages, Father Christmas gave him a pattern and we finally got around to making them yesterday.  I needed to get some elastic today - and amazingly the town I work in has a sewing shop! So we quickly finished them tonight, ready for bed.  One very proud boy.  (He 'sewed' by helping feed the fabric and then by holding the 'special button' to go backwards). 

The youngest was exhausted this evening, he's spent the day with Granny and Grandpa, which, on reflection, is exactly what he needed after a few very busy days for him!  He was pretty naughty by the time dinner was served, a clear sign that he's only just holding things together - and he was asleep 5 minutes after being put to bed.
