I propose we ban homework

lovely busy day with the fire on, painting and watching the tennis...then the kids came home and we descended briefly into homework-hell. all done for another week though...peggy's completely pointless piece of homework this week was to write an a-z of cars - a for astra, b for bmw etc. how completely useless is that?! she's six and doesn't give two hoots about types of cars! bloody teachers...

anyway, we're all now watching war horse which beth has just finished reading in english. daisy is stuffed down the back of the couch playing with her dolls and half-watching at the same time. every five minutes she asks what's going on...much to the annoyance of her big sister haha...
