Seal surprise

A relaxed morning with a wander around the grounds and woodland. The kids enjoyed the adventure play area and Ben & Vanessa treated us to some delicious lunch time treats including ‘bricks’ (very naughty fried egg in pastry - see extra)

Then a quick dash to the beach before sundown and from nowhere this little seal appeared rolling around on the sand.
We did have to keep a few passing dogs away from it and the kids from going too close. The parent seal kept an eye on it’s baby from the safety of the water.

Then back to the ‘shed’ for New Year celebrations including karaoke, games and desert island discs.
