Towering Over ...

... Earlham Road is St Johns Cathedral. A Victorian Gothic monster, built on the site of the old Norwich prison.

It is special to us as Jacinta and I got married there. No, it was not a big Society wedding! This just happened to be our parish Church at the time.

For those with long memories, this part of Earlham road featured in an advert for Double Decker chocolate bars when a double-decker bus 'discovered' an old chalk working under the road. The slogan was 'Nothing Fills a Hole like a Double Decker.' :-)
