Melancholy Moments

Home alone this evening.

Mrs DD is out at a staff leaving do and as you all know, Hannah is safely back in Zambia.

So me and the dogs curled up in front of the fire later in the evening with a glass of the very nice malt Hannah bought me for Christmas 2011 - not the whole bottle you understand - the book she recommended from Kindle in the New Year, and a nice hot drink in my new Starbucks mug.

Not coffee, I hasten to add but, since I've been off the caffeine pretty much for a couple of months now, a mug of Lemon & Ginger from one of those tea bag thinghies!

Flowers in my hair and eating nuts and seeds next week!

Trying to give up horse for lent!
