Walking off Christmas

A vague and doomed attempt to walk off some of the excesses of Christmas took us to Rivaulx Abbey today and a stroll around the area there.
Partidges were bizarelly caught (and after a vote released rather than added to the larder) and a deserted medieaval village explored.
Back then to Terrington and the left-over pie. All very good.
