I did it.

As you know i’ve Been battling a virus for the past two weeks, but yesterday had really begun to improve. For years now i’ve Played the Last Post at a Canadian war memorial up above Oakworth, and I really did wonder if I was going to be able to manage this year. But with careful planning, medication and determination I pulled it off!

We then went out for a wonderful meal with Miss H and G. I also got my birthday presents from them, one on which is a stunning purse to match my firehose handbag. I have a very wonderful family!
