Crimson glory

I had spied a red dragon out in the garden but by the time I went inside and got the camera with the macro lens on it had buggered off.  This crimson rosella munching on the  cyprus was all that was on offer in a near blipless day although I can hear that owl again as I type this.

We have had a tiny bit of rain here.  They have had it also in the fire areas but not enough to put out the fires.   There is a huge hullabaloo going on about the Prime Minister's handling of the disaster.  A plague on all politicians is all I will say.  Lets just get the aid to the people that need it and help with the rebuilding and get on with it.
