Twelfth Night
I always think the house looks and feels sad on twelfth night when the tree has been undressed and cast out for recycling.
The corner of the lounge that has been the focal point for the last month, is now dull and drab by comparison
In an effort to hold on to those festive glows, I cannot resist lighting the candles that still have quite a lot of life left in them.
Perhaps as a tribute to another festive tradition I should have blipped
'Fork Handles' ;-D)
Monty and Dixie have returned to my care today. The morning dog walk was completed in the dry.
From lunchtime the rain hammered down for a few hours and then, for p.m. walkies the sky was clear with a half moon high in the sky.
Day total: 3 miles
