Smoke Haze
Back Blip from Akaroa
We were greeted to a orange glow on New Years morning. It felt like you were on a alien planet. As the day went by the smoke haze from the Australian bushfires became so bad I had to close all the doors and windows as I could hardly breathe... and it was 32c with no breeze.
I put the two shot together so you can see the difference from the evening before. There was some smoke haze then but not as much.
My son arrived late afternoon yesterday and we saw the New Year in together. When we went outside at midnight to watch some fireworks we noticed the crescent moon was red. It was going down over the hills so by the time I got my camera it was gone.
