Tree Felling

A walk today around North and Middle Third and found a few notices indicating forestry work. Some quite large areas are being felled ... commercial forestry in action, which alters the shape of the landscape considerably.
Tonight we have been to see Les Miserables. Some of the film is excellent--- Hugh Jackman's Valjean is outstanding, Eddie Redmayne is a well cast Marius, and the musical highlight is undoubtedly Ann Hathaway's " I dreamed a dream". I was not as convinced by Russell Crowe's singing and disappointed with the innkeepers.
