Winter Glow, Lochan Spling, Aberfoyle

There are hundreds of wonderful snow blips from around the country today but here in Stirlingshire we appear to have escaped the snow. It was however bitingly cold on the walk around Lochan Spling, a lovely stretch of water in Loch Ard forest which I have blipped before. There was a thin film of ice on the water but barely thick enough to suppport any weight.We were rewarded for braving the cold with some superb late afternoon sunshine which cast this reflective glow on the water
