Garnets

I thought it might just be appropriate to blip this brooch. The stones around the edge are garnets which are this month's birthstone. Three of us have birthday's this month, my own on the 2nd, #1 Daughter's the day after tomorrow, and my mother-in-law would have been 115 yesterday!

I can only think that this brooch was hers. Strangely there is no hallmark, I'll see what my valuation document says about it's likely age and update this.
