Caving .....

on Quail Island, Lyttelton Harbour

A super day out on the harbour with the Wednesday Paddlers. It's a long time since I've been out in my kayak, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

C. & M. were enjoying looking at the volcanic rock formations inside this cave.

There were lots of blackbacked gulls with babies - Extras. We saw several spoonbills, but unfortunately none of the photos are worth keeping. But the shag hanging out his wings to dry appealed to me - Extras. 

I've also put a photo of two of the guys paddling back to our starting point at Cass Bay - Extras.

I've got behind with blipping - one from yesterday still to come, plus one from Sunday! Too much on .....  It will happen though.
