Gentleshaw Common

Thank you so much, my dear blip friends, for the lovely comments, stars and hearts yesterday, when you visited my journal. It is heartwarming and so much appreciated. 

It wasn’t (quite) an unbroken ten years. In the first month, I deliberately missed a day “so I wouldn’t get obsessive.”  Well, that didn’t work, did it. 

Today :
High above the edge of industrial South Staffordshire, you can find Gentleshaw Common. It’s officially an “area of outstanding beauty”. There was a serious fire a few years ago, but the bracken and heathland is fighting back.  Seriously muddy this morning, it was still a delightful breath of fresh air in our crazy and fragile world.
