A new walk

For a change of scenery today I took Dornie and Shuna over to Cobleland between Gartmore and Aberfoyle to try out a walk I wasn't aware of until the dogs' mistress told me about it.

It is a lovely level walk along the old railway line towards Aberfoyle, which is known as The Gateway to the Highlands, so there is a fine backdrop of forest-covered mountains. After about a mile we took a path to the left, which meandered down to the river. There was some snow lying on the ground to the sides of the path, but I think it must be left over from last weekend, because we haven't had any snow this week.
