Loch Lomond in January #2

I'm taking advantage of being down at the lochside every day this week, walking dogs. Once this house-sit is finished on Sunday, it'll be back to blips of cats and interesting old artefacts.

A second added complication to this week (the first, in the nicest possible way, being Skye, the springer) has been the fact that Shuna is in season, so I have been advised to walk her and Dornie early in the morning when there is less likelihood of meeting any other dogs.

Sure enough, in the five days so far, although 9 o'clock is hardly the crack of dawn - I don't think the gate at Milarrochy is unlocked much before then - we have met neither man nor beast dog on our walk.

When we got back to the car-park today, there were two men with tripods set up, taking photographs, but I didn't ask them if they were blippers. LadyM would have!
