Let the sunshine in.

Oh what a beautiful winter’s day.

This stem of orchids was given to me last week, and it is actually rather a dark colour which is why I put it in the window.
However with the sun shining through the petals this morning it looked so beautiful, and changed the colour completely.

Usual shopping day.
Our farm shop had the first forced rhubarb, so it will be our favourite rhubarb and orange pie this weekend. The first of the season always tastes the best.

A lovely surprise this morning. We saw a great tit having a peep in one of the bird boxes. So things are looking good.
