Village pond.

A dull day with a strong cold wind.
Difficult to keep the camera still.
Just had a look at the pond while on my way to pickup the Yorkshire Post.
No shortage of water, and plenty of mallards plus a couple of moorhens.
Nice to see the Christmas Roses in flower, although I still don’t think they look right.
I would have preferred a more natural, wild planting of native plants. ( see my blip 14 April 2018)
It just seems too manicured now.
The ducks however aren’t bothered.
