Mermaid

We gave Ella and Nathaniel “swim like a mermaid experience” for their birthdays. They really enjoyed doing it and the young women put effort into putting sparkles on their faces and then they had to show they could swim well enough before being kitted out with the costume and fin. They also took pictures of them underwater. It was obviously a different technique from normal swimming but they learned and enjoyed.

We are driving home to get a few hours sleep before waking at 11.15 pm for the drive to Manchester. Mr C can just close his eyes and nap but I doubt I’ll bother trying as I can doze in the car.
